The Foundations
Professional Background & Academic Record
Maisha completed her LLB (Hons) in 2017 with academic distinction and a Best Performance Award, the Legal Practice Course in 2019, and was admitted as a solicitor in March 2022 — having joined Connaught Law back in April 2018 and built her practice here from the ground up. She is Westlaw UK certified for research excellence, and in 2017 spent several months in Zimbabwe assisting orphans and vulnerable children — a commitment to people that still shapes her practice.
In Practice
Complex Financial & HNW Disputes
Wealthy clients rely on Maisha for the disputes where money is genuinely complicated: settlements with international financial elements, assets that need finding before they can be divided, businesses whose valuations are contested, and ring-fencing arguments over what should stay outside the pot.
International Children & Cross-Border Matters
Her international practice covers cross-border child contact, Hague Convention applications, relocation disputes, international maintenance and multi-jurisdictional enforcement — handled with the cultural awareness these cases demand.
The Record
Court of Appeal & Notable Work
Maisha has represented clients in the Court of Appeal in complex public child matters, and successfully assisted a client in appealing an unlawful Family Court decision — now a reported case in England & Wales. Her philosophy: no case too big or too small, every one run with confidence, reliability and strategy.
