- Aged 18 or older
- The individual is free to give notice of marriage or civil partnership in the UK within six months of the arrival
- The applicant will be visiting the UK for fewer than 6 months
- The applicant will leave the UK before the visa expiry
- The applicant will not make the UK his main home or live for extended periods through frequent visits
- The person is in an authentic and genuine relationship
- The applicant is capable of supporting himself during the trip or has funding from someone else
- Proof of other activities you want to do in the UK in accordance with visitor rules
