Asfandyar is an integral part of our litigation and dispute resolution department, where his attention to detail and love for connecting with people shine through. Asfandyar is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn and was called to the bar in 2022. He further holds a master’s in civil litigation, which enhances his case working capabilities and assists him in his dispute resolution matters.
Asfandyar’s practice areas include a mix of commercial litigation, contract disputes, director and shareholder disputes, money claims, as well property or other chancery matters. He regularly assists clients at the High Court King’s Bench Division and Chancery Division, as well as at the Property Tribunal and County Court.
As an alternative to litigation, Asfandyar recognises that not all cases are best treated at court, and that a better avenue for resolution is often available through mediation and/or arbitration. Matters in the court take long and are considerably expensive; Asfandyar’s clients often regard his ability to get the redress they need outside of court as highlight effective and cost efficient.
